True indeed! I can very well imagine the awe and wonder of the audience of the late 1980s when they witnessed touch-screen technology for the first time when the Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer Predator hit the theaters in 1987! Remember the extraterrestrial predator creature that uses a touch screen interface attached to its wrist to dial in a series of lines and dashes to set off the explosion near the conclusion of the movie? Could anyone have, at that point of time, even remotely guessed that some 20 odd years down the line touch screen interface gadgets would flood the information and communications technology scene? I doubt it!

Now that you have such options as touch screen PDAs and touch screen tablet PCs, I don't think anyone cares about keys and buttons any longer! The pace of technological progress has been so tremendous in the last decade that it has phenomenally increased our expectations, so much so that it has become our second nature to expect a brand new technology to hit the market every quarter. With the first quarter of 2012 nearing its conclusion, it does not come as a surprise that people are already surfing the Internet to find out what else is in store in terms of new gadgets for 2012. Well, let's check out the following section to find out!

What New Gadgets to Expect in 2012

If you've already gotten over the iPhone 4S and the Blackberry PlayBook, you'reprobably combing through every search result on Google that appears to be about new and upcoming gadgets you should look out for in 2012. Well, here's a list of a few candidates that are definitely worth a generous amount of ogling at and drooling over. Ski along to find out what they are!
